THE TRUE MEANING OF - "AMEN"

One day God took Abraham outside his tent & told him,“Look towards the heavens and see if you can count the stars there.That’s how many descendants you're going to have” (Genesis 15:5). At that time Abraham didn’t even have one child. There r millions of stars in the sky. And it says that Abraham believed the Lord (Genesis 15:6). The word ‘believe’ there in the original Hebrew is ‘AMAN’ from which we get the English word ‘AMEN’ which means ‘I believe that it will be so.’ So when God told Abraham that his seed would be like the stars of heaven, Abraham just said,“Amen=I believe it will be so” That’s it. And it was fulfilled. Today, the children of Abraham (physically & spiritually)number in millions.

Faith means saying “Amen” when God has said something to you. Faith is always based on the word of God. “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God” (Rom.10:17). You can’t have faith, if you don’t listen to God. Abraham heard God first. Then he said “Amen”. Nowadays, I find many believers saying that they have faith for things about which God has said nothing. They say: “I have faith that God will give me a Mercedez-Benz car. And I believe it’s going to be black in colour. ”That’s not faith. That is presumption. It is tempting God. Faith can be born only after hearing God speaking to us first. Only then can we say, “Amen=It shall be so.” If you remember this, you will be saved from presumption and from counterfeit faith.

Faith begins with God’s promise & not with our desires. Once God has spoken, we must keep on saying,“Amen” to it, all through our life, no matter how long God takes to fulfill His Word. But in Genesis 16; we read that Sarah was impatient. She suggested to Abraham to have children through Hagar, her maid (Gen.16:2). What did Abraham do then? unfortunately he said, “Amen”, to Sarah too. That caused a problem for Abraham’s descendants that have now lasted for 4000 years.

Christians అయిన మనము Bible దైవగ్రంధము అని నమ్ముతున్నాము. కానీ, ఇది దేవుని గ్రంధము కాదు అని నమ్మేవారు ఈ లోకములో చాలా మంది ఉన్నారు. ఇలాంటి వారికీ bible దైవగ్రంధమని ఎలా చెప్పాలి?నమ్మితే నమ్మండి లేకపోతే పొండి అని మనము అనుకుంటే ఎవ్వరిని కాపాడలేము,రక్షించలేము. నమ్మించే ప్రయత్నం చేయుటలో తప్పు లేదు. ఎలా చెప్పాలో క్రింది తెలియజేసాను.

హేతువాదులు, muslims మనకు రెండు వర్గాలుగా కనపడుతున్నారు. హేతువాదులు:ఏదియు నమ్మరు. bibleపై పగ పట్టినవారు. ఎందుకంటే రోజురోజుకు bibleకు పెరుగుతున్న ఆధరణ, రోజురోజుకు ప్రపంచములో పెరుగుతున్నరు christians వలన. muslims: వీళ్ళు కూడా bibleను తప్పు పట్టే ప్రయత్నములో ఉన్నారు. bible దైవగ్రంధము అని ఎలా చెప్పగలము?ఎదుటివాడు ప్రశ్నించినప్పుడు మనము సమాధానము చెప్పవలసిన భాద్యత ఉన్నది. 1 పేతేరు3:16- మిలో ఉన్న నిరీక్షణ గూర్చిమిమ్మునుహేతువు(హేతువాదులు, muslims, nonchristians ,christians)అడుగు ప్రతివానికి సాత్వికముతోను,భయముతోను ,సమాధాము చెప్పుటకు ఎల్లప్పుడు సిద్దముగా ఉండాలి అని ఉంది. 

1) Bible చరిత్ర

bible ఎలా వచ్చిందని,అస్సలు bible వెనుకాల దేవుని ఉద్దేశము కానీ,bible దేవుని book అని ఎలా నమ్మాలి అని అనుకున్నప్పుడు bible గూర్చి కొంత వివరణ మనకు తెలియడము చాలా అవసరము.bible లో పాత, క్రొత్త నిబంధనలు ఉన్నాయి.పాత నిబంధనలో 39 books, క్రొత్త నిబంధనలో 27 మొత్తం 66 పుస్తకాల సమూహముగా bible మన చేతిలో ఉన్నది. bible విశిష్టత అంటే bibleలో 66 books ఉన్నపటికీ వ్రాసింది మాత్రము ఒక్కరు కాదు.40-42 మంది ప్రవక్తల చేత వ్రాయబడింది.ఒకే కాలములో,ఒకే చోట కూర్చోని వ్రాయలేదు. moses కాలము వేరు,david కాలము వేరు.moses క్రీ పూ 1500 year లో వ్రాసాడు.david 1000 year కాలము వాడు. ఇలా యెషయ ,యిర్మియా, మిక ,నహుము, మాలకి వేరు వేరు కాలమునకు చెందినవారు. 40-42 మంది వ్రాసిన, వీరందరు కూడా ఒక కాలమునకు చెందిన వారు కాదు. విషయము మాత్రము అందరు ఒక్కటిగానే చెప్పారు. 40-42 మంది వ్రాసిన వీరు వేరు వేరు ప్రాంతాలు. 

పాత నిబంధనలో చూద్దాము:

a) David-గొర్రెలు కాసుకున్నప్పుడు కొన్ని వ్రాసాడు,అంతః పురములో ఉన్నప్పుడు కొంచం వ్రాసాడు.

b) Moses-అరణ్య ప్రయాణములో ఉన్నప్పుడు వ్రాసాడు.

c) daniel-babulon చెరకు కొనిపోబడినప్పుడు వ్రాసాడు.

d)ఆమోసు-పశువులు కాసుకుంటూ వ్రాసాడు.

e)నేహమ్య-govt employeeగా ఉంటూ వ్రాసాడు. పైన చెప్పబడినవారు బిన్నమైన వృతుల్లో,ప్రాంతాలలో,కాలాలలో వ్రాసారు కానీ ఒక్కటే వ్రాసారు.

క్రొత్త నిబంధనలో చూద్దాము:

 a) మత్తాయి-సుంకపు అధికారి, Luke- doctor, పేతురు-fisherman, Paul-పండితుడు. అందరి చేత వ్రాయించింది ఒక్కడే గనుక అంత ఒక్కటిగా ఉంది. వాళ్ళ అందరికి ప్రేరేపించింది పరిశుదాత్మ దేవుడు. 11 పేతురు1:20,21-ఒకడు తన ఒహను బట్టి చెప్పుట వలన లేఖనములో ఏ ప్రవచనము పుట్టదని గ్రహించాలి. ఉహించి రాస్తే ఈరోజు కాకపోతే రేపన్న తప్పు అవ్వాలి. ఉహించి రాస్తే ఎప్పటికన్నా తప్పు అవ్వాలి.

Bible చరిత్ర క్రీపూ 1500 కాలములో moses ద్వార start అయ్యింది and క్రీశ మొదట 100 కాలములో complete అయ్యింది.1600 పట్టింది వ్రాయడానికి.వ్రాయబడి నేటికి 2000 years అయ్యింది. 3500 years చరిత్ర కలిగినది. ఒక వేళ ఉహ ఉంటె ఎంత లైఫ్ ఎందుకు ఉంటుంది? ఇన్ని thousand years అయిన world లో all countriesకి వెళ్ళిపోయింది. all languagesలో translated. printingmachineరాగానే first book bible printed. దిని వెనుక దేవుడు ఉన్నాడన్న విషయము మనకు అర్థము అవ్వాలి.

2) యెషయ 34:16- యెహోవ గ్రంధమును పరిశిలించి చదువుకోనుడి.

నేహమ్య 8:18-దేవుని గ్రంధమును స్పష్టముగా వినిపించి.....

11 తిమోతి3:17-దైవ వేశము వలన కలిగిన ప్రతి లేఖనము.....

పైన చెప్పబడిన references ద్వార bible దేవుని గ్రంధము అని మనకు అర్థమవుచున్నది. 

3) Bible దేవుని గ్రంధము కాదు అని దేనిని బట్టి అంటున్నారో చూద్దాము:

a) వీరంతా వారికీ ఉన్న తెలివితేటలు బట్టి,జ్ఞ్యాణము బట్టి వ్రాసారు అంటున్నారు మేధావులు,scientists,research fellows. అలంటి వారికీఅడిగేప్రశ్న“ప్రపంచములోఉన్నమేధావులు, scientists, rese-arch fellows అందరిని కూర్చోబెట్టి bible లాంటి మరొక గ్రంధమును వ్రాయమని చెప్పండి. bible లాంటి మరొక book వ్రాసి తీసుకొస్తే అప్పుడు మనము agree చేస్తాము.

b) Bible scientificగా లేదు అంటున్నారు. సృష్టి కేవలము 6 days లో అయింది అనుకుంటున్నారు. ఇక్కడ day అంటే 24 hours కాదు. earth 3rd day create అయింది. sun, stars 4thday create అయింది. మరి earth 3rd day వస్తే first 2 days earth లేకుండా ఎలా అయిపోయాయి? ఇవి విశ్వానికి సంబంధించిన దినాలు.

c) Bible చరిత్ర ఆదారముగా లేదు అంటున్నారు. అస్సలు world history ఉంది bibleలో ఒక్కటే. worldని మొదట rule చేసింది babulon సామ్రాజ్యము. ఇక్కడ నుంచి start అయింది world history. daniel 2 లో రాబోయే సామ్రాజ్యముల గూర్చి చెప్పబడింది. babulon, పారసీక, greek, roma..

d) bibleకు భూగోళిక అధరాలు లేవు అంటున్నారు.చరిత్ర అధరాలు ఉంటె భూగోళిక అధరాలు కూడా ఉంటాయి.చరిత్ర ఎక్కడ జరిగింది అని చెప్పేదే భూగోళిక. స్థలము ఉంటేనే చరిత్ర form అవుతుంది.bible లో చెప్పబడిన ఎర్ర, మృత సముద్రము etc ఇవన్ని భూగోళికoగా మన కళ్ళముందు కనపడుతున్నాయి.

e) పిల్లలు చదువుకోవాల్సిన book కాదు bible అంటున్నారు. భూతులు ఉన్నాయి అంటూ లోతు సందర్భమును చూపిస్తున్నారు.త్రాగితే ఎలా ఉంటుందో అని చెప్పి భయము నేర్పించడానికి పెట్టాడు, మనకు జ్ఞ్యానోధయము కోసము పెట్టాడు,సమాజానికి హెచ్చరికగా ఉండాలని పెట్టాడు. దేవుడు bibleని వ్రాయించినప్పుడు మంచి చేస్తే మంచిని,చెడు చేస్తే చెడుని చెప్పాడు. David నా ఇస్టానుసరుడు అని మంచి,చెడు కూడా వ్రాయించాడు.మనిషి వ్రాస్తే మంచే వ్రాస్తారు కానీ చెడు వ్రాయరు. ex:ఎవరి autobiography అయిన మంచే చెప్తాడు కానీ చెడు చెప్పడు. దేవుడు పక్షపాతి కాదు.లోతు విషయము ఎందుకు చెప్పాడంటే త్రాగాకండి,త్రాగితే మత్తు ఎక్కిపోతారు,మత్తు ఎక్కితే wife,children,sister ఎవరు నీకు కనపడరు అని. దానికి దూరముగా ఉండండి అని ఒకప్పుడు లోతు విషయములో జరిగిన ఈ విషయాన్నీ జ్ఞ్యాపకము చేసుకోండి, మీకు భుద్ది కలుగుటై వ్రాసాను కానీ మిమల్ని చేయమని కాదు అని అంటున్నాడు దేవుడు. 1కోరంది 10:11- యుగంతమందున్న వారికీ భుద్ది కలుగుటకైవ్రాయబడెను. చరిత్ర అంతటిని బట్టి అందులో ఉన్న చెడు,మంచి ఏంటి,చెడు చేసినందుకు దేవుడు ఎలా శిక్షించాడు, మంచి చేసినప్పుడు ఎలా bless చేసాడు అన్న విషయాలు తెలుసుకొని మంచి చేసి దేవుని దృష్టిలో గొప్పవాడు కావాలని భుద్ది కలుగుతనికి వ్రాసాను అంటున్నాడు.అందుకే లోతు విషయాన్ని వ్రాయించాడు. 

4) పై వివరణ బట్టి Bibleనే నిజమైన దేవుని గ్రంథమని అర్థమైనది. కనుక దేవునిగ్రంధమైన Bible నుచదివి, తెలుసుకొని, నేర్చుకొని, అంగికరించి, మన జీవితాలలో అన్వయించికొని,ఇందులో సత్యాలను మరొకరికి చెప్పి వారిని దేవునిలో నడిపి౦మపజేసి ఆత్మల రక్షకుడుగా అవ్వండి.
